Softball was ahead early and often as they battled the Warhawks of McDonough High in region play. Hornets received multiple contributions from several young ladies. Tyler Ellison  was 2 for 2 with a home run. Jada Howard 2 for 2 with a double. Cheyenne Godfrey was also 2 for 2 with a double. Hornets are home Thursday September 3 against the same Warhawks team. Coach Huffman and crew will be looking to stay undefeated in the region.
